Career

Before acting, Pyo Ye-jin worked as a flight attendant for Korean Air from 2011 to 2013. She joined the airline at age 19, becoming one of its youngest cabin crew members at the time, and served for about a year and a half. Feeling limited by the structured nature of the job, she resigned to pursue acting. She trained as an actress under JYP Entertainment until 2015.

She made her acting debut in 2012 with a minor role in the MBC drama Oh Ja-ryong is Coming. Early appearances included small parts in Gu Family Book (2013) and the film Miss Granny (2014). After signing with Pan Stars Company, she began landing more substantial supporting roles, including in Doctors (2016) as nurse Hyun Soo-jin and The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop (2016).

Her visibility grew with Fight for My Way (2017) and her first leading role in the daily drama Love Returns (2017). In 2018 she played secretary Kim Ji-ah in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, earning a Popular Character Award.
